Join Touch FM’s Kirsty at The British National Ploughing Championships and Country Festival!
Get out the wellies and Join Kirsty on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of October at The 68th British National Ploughing Championships and Country Festival.
The Championships are returning to Warwickshire for the first time since 1966 at Austrey near Atherstone, with more than 250 top ploughmen and women from all over Britain competing.
Expect attractions for all the family in the 250 acre site, such as vintage tractors, ploughs and equipment; steam ploughing engines; a craft marquee with a wide variety of exhibitors; and rural and vintage machinery displays too.
Horse ploughing is also one of the major family attractions with around 15 pairs of heavy horses expected to be seen working each day.
