Complaints made against officers

It's been revealed a West Midlands police officer was forced to wear a head cam after allegations about their conduct.

Nationally it's been revealed 2000 officers have had at least three complaints made against them by members of the public over the past year.

Although West Midlands Police say only 26 of their 8,5000 officers fall into this category.

A figure they say is extremely low bearing in mind the nature of the job.

In a statement given to they say the circumstances of each complaint is looked into on a case by case basis and where officers have been found to be rude or impolite, they are mentored by their line managers.
