11 year old son says "No-one can replace my dad" after fatal crash

Tributes are being paid to a man killed in a crash in Baginton

Karamjit Singh, 37, from Leicester, died in hospital after the van he was driving was in collision with a lorry at around 10.50pm in Siskin Parkway East on Middlemarch Industrial Estate.

Karamjit's 11-year-old son Aarondeep said: "We are very upset our dad has gone, I'm absolutely devastated. No one can replace my dad and he will remain in our hearts forever."

His wife Sonia said: "Karamjit was a caring father and a loving husband. He was a hard worker and one with a heart of gold. My world has finished, my life has shattered with my Karamjit's sudden death. No words can describe him, he was my soul mate. I'm now left with his memories which shall stay alive in my heart forever. I love you Sodhi."

Officers are continuing to investigate the collision and are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam or CCTV footage to come forward.

If you have any information about the incident please contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting reference 520 of 10 July 2018.
