Coventry City are going to wear a special kit for their upcoming Wembley trip.
The Sky Blues have exhausted their supply of existing strips this season so the Football League have granted them special permission to change it for Monday's play off final against Exeter City.
Dave Boddy, Coventry City Chief Executive, said: “With our existing supply exhausted, we have commissioned a special, limited edition one-off shirt for the Play-Off Final.
“The striped kit is one with much history, especially at Wembley, for the Sky Blues.
“We hope it will be very popular with supporters, who will be able to buy the shirt now online at ccfc.clubstore.co.uk.
“This will not be the kit for the 2018/19 season, so we hope it will be a very unique shirt for the club and fans.”
The 2017/18 home kit also proved very popular with supporters, which has meant that stock has also sold out in the club shop ahead of the Final. The introduction of a special, one-off limited edition shirt will mean that fans will be able to buy a replica CCFC shirt ahead of the big game.
