CCTV Appeal: Coventry supermarket thefts

A staff member at a Coventry supermarket's been attacked as she tried to stop a gang stealing more than £1000 worth of baby milk.

Police have released CCTV images of a group of people they want to trace in connection with thefts from Morrisons.

The group entered the Skipworth Road store on 9 March and again on the 12 March, each time they filled a trolley with Aptimal powder and nappies then left without paying.

They loaded the loot, worth more than £1000 each time, onto the back of a grey colour Renault Estate and drove off.

A staff member who tried to prevent them leaving on 12 March was assaulted. She sustained bruising to her arm but did not require hospital treatment.

We suspect the people pictured are the offenders and want to identify them. If you have any information please contact West Midlands Police on 101.

To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Please quote crime number 20CV/58414Q/18.
