Coventry man faces terror charges

A Coventry man has been charged with a terrorism offence following his arrest last week.

Chez Copeland, aged 20, from Brookside Avenue, is accused of having notes - relating to explosives - that were likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

He is also accused of two offences under the Explosives Act, as well as possessing a stun gun.

He will appear before Westminster Magistrates today, Wednesday 9 May.
