Two more people have been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Jaydon James in Coventry last year.
Jaydon was with friends in Deedmore Road, Wood End, when he was stabbed on Saturday 24 November; he died in hospital soon after being admitted.
20-year-old Abdi Hussein, of Foleshill Road, Coventry, was arrested by detectives yesterday morning (Saturday 21 September) and subsequently charged with murder, as well as the wounding of two other people during the same incident.
A 17-year-old, who we can not name for legal reasons, was detained in Leicestershire yesterday morning and charged with the same offences.
The pair have been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Coventry tomorrow (Monday 23 September).
Another 17-year-old was charged with the same offences on Thursday and appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court the next day. He is now due to enter a plea at Warwick Crown Court next month, and has been remanded in custody.
All three had already been arrested at earlier stages of the investigation before being re-arrested and charged.
Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley from the force’s homicide unit, said: “Although we have now charged three people with Jaydon’s murder, our investigation continues and we still welcome information about the circumstances of his death.
"I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with my team."
