A man has been arrested in connection with a Coventry pub shooting.

It's reported a group of men pulled up in a car outside the New Tiger Moth in Quorn Way, Ernesford Grange, at around 3.15pm on Saturday (6 April) before one of them ran into the entrance and opened fire with a shotgun.

The blast damaged the windows but no injuries were reported.

A car that officers believe was used in the shooting was later recovered in Ridgethorpe, Willenhall, and seized for forensic analysis.

A 22-year-old man from Coventry was arrested yesterday (Wednesday, 10 April) on suspicion of possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life. He was bailed pending further enquires.

Anyone with information can report it by calling 101, using West Midlands Police's online Live Chat service between 8am and midnight, or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
