Two men have been charged with a home raid robbery in which it’s alleged a knife was held to a baby’s throat.
London men Joshua Juggan and Malik Ragnatt are accused of storming a house in Cheswick Close, in the Stoke area of Coventry, on Monday morning (18 June) and making off with cash and jewellery after threatening the occupants with a craft knife.
Two children, aged three and the other 10-months, were in the house at the time along with two women but no-one was hurt.
The pair were arrested by armed police from a vehicle on the M40 at 7.50pm on the same day and last night were charged with robbery.
Juggan (24) from Alvey Street in Southwark and 21-year-old Malik Ragnatt from Bensham Lane, Croydon, are set to appear before Coventry magistrates today (20 June).
West Midlands Police detectives in Coventry continue to investigate the robbery and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
