Unprovoked attack outside Coventry pub

CCTV has been released by police investigating an unprovoked attack outside a Coventry pub which left a man needing surgery to fix a broken jaw.

The 25 year old victim also suffered a severe arm injury when he was punched in the face and knocked out.

It happened outside the Town Crier in Corporation Street on September the 30th.

Just before the attack took place, the suspect was believed to be with a group of men who were refused service by staff and asked to leave the pub because of their drunkenness and bad behaviour.

He was described as a white man with dark hair wearing a dark waist length jacket; his two associates were wearing lighter coloured jumpers.

Anyone with information or who recognises the people in these images should call us on 101 giving reference 20CV/208398L/17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
